We are currently looking to recruit a Resident Nurse reporting to HR
Manager & General Manager
Scope of Position:
The Resident Nurse treats and educates associates and guests, provides
emotional support and advice and often educates associates and guests regarding
many medical conditions.
General Requirements:
The successful applicant for this position:
- Must have the ability to work independently without a physician, looking after a static population of 350 associates and a dynamic guest population of up to 200 on an island resort.
- Must have the ability to work indoors at the resort Clinic and outdoors in health promotion and education of associates and guests.
- Must be familiar with or have some knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, best practices.
- Must be familiar with or have some knowledge of environmental health and safety standards, control and management of disease carrying vectors.
Education and Experience:
- A Degree in Nursing from a University, College, Institute recognized by the Maldives Medical Council with 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse preferably with some experience as a Paramedic Nurse, Triage Nurse or in a Trauma/Emergency Room.
Or
- A Higher national Diploma or Diploma from a College, Institute recognized by the Maldives Medical Council with at least 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse preferably with some experience as a Paramedic Nurse, Triage Nurse or in a Trauma/Emergency Room.
