The Taj Exotica, a luxury leisure resort and Spa, part of the award winning Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces, situated in the middle of one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives. Emboodhu Finolhu. Guests will be met at the airport and assisted to the docking jetty where the resort’s private speed boats will be available at all times to bring guests to the resort and the distance from Male International airport is covered in approximately 15 minutes at any time of the day or night.

On arrival at the resort, all guests will be received and escorted to the ceremonial pavilion leading to the main lobby whilst the baggage is safely transported to the guests pre blocked villa before the guest reach the rooms. Refreshing welcome drinks and cold towels are served to guests before they are escorted to their accommodations by the hotel’s staff. On their way to the accommodations guests are also given a guided tour of the facilities of the island that they will be using which includes the Ocean Dive and Water Sports Centre which has been specially designed to offer an array of facilities and options to guests as well as the exclusive Taj Spa.

The unveiling vista which guests experience as they are transported to their rooms is due to the unique vegetation and landscaping which gives the resort a private feel. Tropical palms and the flowering foliage line up the sandy walkways and accesses are provided to white sandy beaches which are set up to receive the sun bathers. Thatched umbrellas with comfortable chaise lounges are available at all times for guest to use. Clear sandy beaches frame the island and the clear water of the lagoon stretch as far as the eye can see. Walking in knee deep clear aquamarine water with white sand at your feet is a feeling that can only be experienced at Taj Exotica because this is one of the only clear sand lagoons in the Maldives.
