We are currently looking to
recruit a Chinese Hostess reporting to Food & Beverage Manager
Scope of Position:
The Chinese Hostess / Waiter
prepares the restaurant for service, sets up buffets and dining tables, meets,
greets, seats and takes food and drinks orders from guests at Air restaurant
and/or any other restaurant assigned by the management during breakfast, lunch
and dinner.
General Requirements:
The individuals must possess
the following knowledge skills and abilities and must be able to explain and
demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with
or without reasonable accommodations, using some other combination of
abilities.
- Ability to read, to listen to, comprehend and communicate effectively in English and Chinese / Cantonese / Mandarin both verbally and in writing.
Intrapersonal Skills
- Should be accurate, efficient and methodical in work.
- Able to keep information confidential and should be honest and responsible at all times.
- Should be confident.
- Self motivated and result-oriented.
- Willing to be multi-task trained.
Interpersonal Skills
- Outgoing and friendly, ability to work as part of a multi-national, multi-religious and multi-cultural team.
Preferred nationality: Chinese
Gender: Female
Preferred age: 20 to 30 years
Education and Experience:
- A qualification from a recognized hotel school with at least 1 year experience as Hostess / Intern or waiter in a Food and Beverage service operation in 5 star resort or hotel environment.
