CHEF                                                                                                                             

As Chef you are responsible for food arrangements of all guests and crew. Your responsibility extends from cooking great meals to menu planning, provisioning and gourmet research. You are also responsible for galley cleaning and table preparations, cleanliness is essential!

You must be able to prepare dishes from basic to the exotic and must be able to create delectable menus with sometimes scarce supplies.

You must also be open to challenges and flexible in operation. You would be required to participate in daily up keep activities and other operations of the yacht along with the crew.

You will be based in Maldives onboard one of the Sultans of the Seas luxury yachts (the Sultans way).

Skills and Competencies

• Culinary certificates or equivalent training is preferred.
• HACCP certification and good hygiene management is a must.
• Between 3-5 years’ experience as a Chef.
• Menu planning “Sample Menu” (7 days) and proof of good presentation skills (photographs) is advised.
• A good repertoire of recipes and vast knowledge of commodities.
• Ability to manage quick menu changes.
• Knowledge of nutrition and restricted diets and food allergies is essential.
• Ability to work in limited refrigeration and cooking space.
• Ability to manage all food preparations with limited help.
