Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Required Qualification & Experience:
- Supervise and monitor daily housekeeping and laundry operations, and revise daily work schedule for Housekeeping staff depending on occupancy
- Consult EHK and maintenance personnel concerned on machine repairs and upkeep and coordinate repairs and trouble reports
- Inspect all VIP arrivals daily as well as do spot checks of the other villas, whether occupied or vacant,
- Instructs careful handling of furniture and emphasize the usage of correct quantity of supplies.
- Usage of the housekeeping equipment has to be supervised and monitored constantly
- Check all the keys in the housekeeping office
- Check the daily logbook for guest requests and complaints and follow up on its progress to ensure it is done properly
- Follow up on housekeeping supervisor’s maintenance requests to make sure that they have been carried out effectively within the given time frame
- Report to the EHK any unusual happening in the resort related to Housekeeping (concerning guest and staff)
Areas of responsibilities are:
A Guest Villas
B Executive Villas
C A and B and its surroundings
D All public areas and outlets, stores, linen and tailoring.
- Prepare master list for deep cleaning or guest room special cleaning/curtains, turn mattresses etc.
- Investigate complaints and take corrective measures
- Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and also to determine need for renovations and put forward recommendations to the executive Housekeeper
- Record all extra work performed by the housekeeping department
- Recommend rooms which should be taken out of order and coordinate information on its availability to the Front Office
- Document these information in the room history record
- Record daily staff attendance, synchronize off days, and prepare vacation lists.
- Supervise and assist Housekeeping month end and other inventories
- Order amenities and maintain par stock of items.
- Prepares departmental strategies and budgets.
- Prepares and approves monthly payroll attendance.
- Prepares Purchase request and flows up on approvals.
- Follows and maintains safety standards of him/her and direct reportees at work and off work.
- Maintains professional image at and off work.
