Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of multiple businesses under the Misk & Co umbrella. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and delivering timely financial reports. This role requires a thorough understanding of real-time accounting practices and tax-related responsibilities, ensuring smooth financial operations across all our ventures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily financial operations across multiple businesses.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Handle tax-related matters, including VAT, income tax, and other local tax regulations.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting principles and laws.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Implement efficient and transparent accounting procedures.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial strategies align with business goals.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably with multi-business management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification is a plus.
