N. Dhigurah, situated in the Noonu Atoll, will be under development and
construction for a project of a luxurious 509 room resort. We are looking for experienced, talented
individuals for the following positions.
Civil Engineer
Responsibilities:
- To provide civil construction quality supervision expertise.
- Monitoring progress and performance of construction contractor during the execution of work.
- Ensuring the scope of work, procedures and schedules are adhered to.
- Resolving and responding to technical queries from contractors.
- Reviewing technical contract documents & engineering reviews.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations, the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and applying their Safety Management Systems.
- Perform progressive quality control and testing functions.
- Identify & analyze design changes & modify design drawings & documents accordingly.
- Ensure a safe and effective execution of construction works.
- Identify and report problems to the Construction Manager.
- Participating in contractor corrective actions and ensuring resolution of nonconformity.
- Provide technical assistance to Civil Inspectors.
- Attend and contribute to site and project technical meetings as necessary.
- Establish and implement Quality Audit Plans and Reports.
Requirements:
- 4 to 7 years’ experience
- Excellent communication skills required
- Skilled at analyzing and interpreting information.
- Familiar and competent with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Quantity Surveyor
Responsibilities:
- Prepare contract documents including bills of quantities.
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments
- Review project man‐hours and the allocation of man‐hours in conjunction with planning and cost control on a weekly basis.
- Accurately measure the amount of materials needed.
- Review manpower needed to finish the construction.
- Review and measure allocated work to subcontractors and their reported progress.
Requirement:
- 4 to 10 years’ experience in the same field in a Hotel/Resort Development Project
- Excellent communication skills required
- Skilled at analyzing and interpreting information.
- Familiar and competent with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
