Junior Executive Sous Chef
The position is aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a Chef
De Cuisine role or similar, that has knowledge of daily operations and strong
in administrative work, good communication skills and have the basic acumen of
kitchen financials, able to run a profitable kitchen. Strong on Health and
Safety, SOP’s, costing and supplies, budgets and brand requirements, as the
above mentioned points will be a special part of his/ her duties.
Chinese Specialty Chef
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Chinese Food.
Mandarin speaking, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary operation, the role is
based on uplifting our Asian food offering in the resort. This position is
aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a Sous Chef role or similar.
Head Chef Asian Cuisine
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Asian
cuisine, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary operation, the role is based on
uplifting our Asian food offering in our buffet outlet. The position is aimed
at a young dynamic individual currently in a Chef de Cuisine role or similar
that has knowledge of Asian food and a fine hand in molding juniors.
Sous Chef Asian Cuisine
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Asian
cuisine, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary operation, the role is based on
uplifting our Asian food offering in our buffet outlet. The position is aimed
at a young dynamic individual currently in a Sous Chef role or similar that has
knowledge of Asian food and a fine hand in molding juniors.
Sous Chef Western Cuisine
We are looking for a young chef with strong experience in Western
buffet cuisine, to join our LUX* Maldives Culinary operation, the role is based
on uplifting our Western food offering in our buffet outlet. The position is
aimed at a young dynamic individual currently in a Sous Chef role or similar
that has knowledge of western food and a fine hand in molding juniors.
Commis I
Specialized Baker. Additional knowledge of patisserie would be
considered as an added advantage.
Commis II
International hot kitchen.
Knowledge of Asian or Italian Cuisine would be considered as an added
advantage.
All Candidate applying for the above positions must posses the below;
- Must be able to work in all areas of the Kitchen depending on the daily requirements of the Head Chef
- Should maintain good hygiene and should possess good knowledge of Health and Safety issues whilst working in the Kitchen
- Must be able to maintain and monitor high standards of cooking and presentation
- Should possess good knowledge of current food trends with reference to presentation and style
- Ability to work as a Team Player
- Flexibility in working long hours
- 3-4 years of experience in an equivalent level of a 5 star Hotel/Resort
