Guest Experience Maker (Maldivian Only)
Scope of Position: Responsible for
ensuring that the assigned guest has the best of experiences at Six Senses Laamu.
Responsible and accountable for all functions & activities related to Guest
Experience Makers and the necessary coordination with the many departments of
the resort and allied areas.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Butler Service by competent
professional in an international hotel
Qualifications: Excellent knowledge of guest service. IT Savvy in Word, Excel and
the Internet. Good Organization skills
Special Skills: Trained in all guest related functions.
Languages: Excellent English and Dhivehi communication skills both oral
and written.
Chinese Guest Experience Maker
Scope of Position: Responsible for
ensuring that the assigned guest has the best of experiences at Six Senses
Laamu. Responsible and accountable for all functions & activities related
to Guest Experience Makers and the necessary coordination with the many
departments of the resort and allied areas.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Butler Service by competent
professional in an international hotel
Qualifications: Excellent knowledge of guest service. IT Savvy in Word, Excel and
the Internet. Good Organization skills
Special Skills: Trained in all guest related functions.
Languages: Excellent Chinese and English communication skills both oral
and written.
Waiter
Scope of Position: To ensure polite,
efficient and the highest standard of restaurant service in accordance with the
resorts food and beverage procedures and to the satisfaction of all guests.
Experience: A minimum of two years experience within five star luxury
hotels and resort. Any equivalent or combinations of beverage related
experience is acceptable.
Qualifications: GCE O/L or A/L
Special Skills: Full knowledge of the operations of bar and restaurant
procedures, set up and service in addition to the resorts SPL’s policies
regarding restaurant services. Any courses relating to further knowledge of
restaurant service are also preferred and welcomed.
Languages: Excellent English communication skills both written and
oral. Knowledge and abilities in other
languages would be beneficial. An offering of local language and their customs
is highly encouraged
Sous Chef
Scope of Position: To assist the
Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chefs
in the operation of the Kitchen production. Sous Chefs require excellent
leadership qualities, organizational and administrative talent, and are fully
responsible for their own outlet operation.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in five star hotels/Resorts
with stable track records.
Qualifications: Diploma in Culinary art or equivalent.
Experience in handling multiple outlets.
HACCP Certified.
Good Organization and interpersonal
skills.
Special Skills: Good knowledge of Food products. market exploitation, food cost
controlling knowledge and knowledge of kitchen equipment
Languages: Excellent English communication skills both oral and
written.
Japanese Hostess
Scope of Position: To ensure polite, efficient and the highest
standard of all the outlet service in accordance with the resort’s food and
beverage procedures and to the satisfaction of all guests. Greet and escort the guests to the table
until seated and assists in maintaining the cleanliness of menus, and prepares
the outlet for operation, including face towels.
Experience: A minimum of one year experience within five star luxury
hotels and resort restaurant operations in the capacity of a hostess. Any
equivalent or combinations of food & beverage related experience is
acceptable.
Qualifications: GCE O/L or A/L
Special Skills: Full knowledge of the operations of restaurant and bar
procedures, set up and service in addition to the resort’s policies, any
courses relating to further knowledge of restaurant service are also preferred
and welcomed.
Languages: Excellent Japanese and English communication skills both
oral and written.
