We are currently looking for talented
people for the following position:
Sommelier
Qualification: WSET Level 3/equivalent or above
Job Profile:
Ability to create special wine offers,
degustation, wine dinners, promotions and to compel guest's attention to the
incredible wine experience. Able to create interesting and diverse wine list
that corresponds to the cuisine and concepts of the restaurants. The ability to
maintain rotation of wines within outlets and the store to maintain its best
quality at all times. Educate, train, supervise team on wine and beverage
service and maintain the standards. Effectively manage costing, pricing and
inventories to achieve the target beverage cost.
Requirement
- Minimum 2 years experience in a well reputed 5* resort hotel
- Proven track record of key accomplishments at work place
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills in coaching Team Members
- Excellent time management skills with ability to independently plan work and execute tasks
- Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent Computer skills
- Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
