POSITION: ACCOUNTANT – 1 Candidate
• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Diploma in Accounting. M.B.A in Finance will be an added advantage.
• Must have proficiency in accounting and auditing computer software such as Quick Books.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice
• Prepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts; prepares monthly financial statements, including distributing monthly revenue and expenditure reports to departments.
• Makes wire transfers and journal funding transfers and reconciles monthly bank statements.
• Calculates and prepares reimbursement billings and tracks receivables; reconciles monthly accounts receivable.
• Prepares audit schedules for external auditors and acts as a liaison between the City and auditors.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
• Willing to work long hours will be an added advantage
Remuneration : Attractive Package with Food and Housing allowance.
