Sales and Marketing Executive


Minivan News is seeking a sales and marketing executive to help expand and commercialise the first fully independent English language news sources in the Maldives.


Ad revenue is the lifeblood of Minivan News, ensuring we remain sustainable and independent. Beyond a competitive salary, this is a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the future of the media in a fledgling democracy.


Reporting directly to the editor, the ideal candidate will be a dynamic and high-energy self-starter, able to work independently both on the phone and actively meet clients to discuss their advertising needs.


Full training will be provided from leading media marketing professionals in the UK, making this an excellent opportunity to learn new skills that are in high-demand internationally.


Base salary will be commensurate with experience includes commission, making the sky the limit for self-motivated candidates.


** Candidates must be fluent in Dhivehi and English.


Experience working in a media environment would be a major plus, along with any experience in admin, Excel, and tools such as Google Analytics.
