Catamaran Captain
LUX* Maldives is looking for an experienced CATAMARAN CAPTAIN to be
in-charge of its sailing catamaran. The successful candidate shall have
previous experience on a sailing boat and will be responsible to maintain the
catamaran and do all servicing in addition to regular day trips with guests. He
should have a good understanding of boat electrics and mechanics and at the
same time be a great host to the guests.
All candidates applying for the position should possess:
- Maldivian Nationality
- Must possess an inboard-boat driving license
- Must have 8 to 10 years experience as a Boat Captain
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak English and Dhivehi
- Must be mechanically fit to perform regular upkeep/maintenance and keep the boat in great condition
- Ability to respond and adapt to various situations and circumstances
- Ability to work as a key team player and thrives on the interaction with people
- Must be able to multi task effectively and flexible in working long hours
- An outgoing personality with excellent customer care skills
- Service Oriented
