Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities:
To manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry operation (hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry).

Requirements:
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Housekeeping Manager, or Assistant Housekeeping Manager in a 5* Hotel.
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.

The positions are property based on the resort island of Hadahaa, Maldives

-  Shop Manager:

Job Duties:
Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
Advises customers by providing information on products.

Keep a check of inventory
Maximize sales and profitability of the store.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Cashier

Managing all the cash transactions in their workplace
Maintaining daily account of the daily transactions
Balancing the daily account at the end of each day
Checking the daily cash balance
Interacting with the customers that come to the counter
Solving all their cash related queries
Checking for the price of products and any discounts or offers
Receiving coupons and deducting the said amount from the customers
Organizing all the work they do and maintaining the accounting records
Reporting discrepancies they find within the accounts to their superiors
Making daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports

Qualification

Shop Manager: Excellent communications skills are vital in this job, as are interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the merchandise or services the shop offers is also essential, as its strong IT competency in relevant applications. Attention to personal appearance is also important as the Shop Manager is expected to look smart and presentable as he/she is representing the company to the public.
The successful applicant will be required to have previous experience in a supervisory
Managing the shop, the staff and the day to day activities, is the responsibility of the Shop Manager. She/He carries out responsibilities that may include training, recruiting, project management and stock taking

Sales Person: : Listening, Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Selling to Customer Needs, Product Knowledge, People Skills, Energy Level, Dependability, General Math Skills, Verbal Communication, Job Knowledge

Cashier: A high school diploma is mandatory
A degree in accounting though not compulsory, is helpful
Knowledge of the banking policies and procedures
Strong proficiency in mathematics and statistics
Ability to organize data and draft reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
Strong communication skills that help to develop courteous conversation with the customers
Proficient in managing the rush of customers and helping each one of them promptly

Experience
For all positions, experience of minimum 1 year will be nice but not mandatory
