Job Scope: Provide for guest’s luggage storage needs by accepting, tagging and retrieving checked luggage.  Assist door and bell staff during the check-in and check-out peak periods

  • Certification in safety and training and/or licensed as a Security Officer or Law Enforcement Officer may be required.  Certified CPR, First Aid instructor and training in law enforcement techniques desired.
  • Working knowledge of local laws, investigation methods, OSHA requirements and fire codes and life safety codes.

GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER - Russian

Job Scope: Responsible for all activities relevant to the Front Desk such as the reception, check in / out, rooming of all Hotel guests, foreign exchange and assisting them with inquiries.
Experience: 1 year experience in guest / customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualification: High School or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent

    Objective : To provide assistance to the head or the board of the organization in identifying donor resources, raising funds and writing proposals for long-term organizational sustainability.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Compile and maintain a database of international and local donor organizations (international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies and private corporations offering donations)
    • Regularly monitor donor websites and identify and inform donor opportunities matching the work of the organization
    • Maintain a website and regularly update it with information about organization’s work
    • Assist the Director in writing concept notes, project ideas and project proposals and ensure their timely submission
    • Undertake independent research in finding alternative resources for long-term sustainability of the organization
    • Assist the President in developing business plans to generate income from various sources.
    • Undertake online research and build contacts with potential individual donors and raise funds for the activities of the organization.
    • Maintain relationships with existing donors and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the organization
    • Improve and develop communications material for the organization such as brochure, website, annual report, DVD, poster etc.
    • Organize or provide assistance in organizing any fundraising events for the organization
    • Suggest other innovative ideas for effective resource mobilization.

    Salary  : MVR 15000 per month.

Ideal candidate shall be familiar with Opera, MC and Sun system and shall have sound knowledge of IT applications related to the job. S/he will be responsible for F&B and general cost controlling and develop policies and procedures for effective cost controlling under guidance of the CFO.

    Kitchen
    Chinese Chef / Assistant Chinese Chef
    Ideal candidate shall have minimum 3 yrs experience as a leading Chinese chef in a resort and shall be an expert in Chinese cuisine. The candidates shall have adequate training in culinary theory, practice and food safety and hygiene and shall be able to communicate in English
