The typical Maldivian resort situated away from other tourist resorts at the very far north of the Male’ Atoll. The island is reachable within 15 minutes flight by seaplane or 1 hour transfer by speedboat from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport, Male’. Helengeli is situated in 90° degree angle to the outer reef and has on both sides a deep channel. Because of this circumstance the house reef is crowded with many big fish rarely seen on other places. With its 6 entrances the house reef is easy reachable for snorkeling and diving right from the beach. About 40 untouched dive spots are nearby Helengeli (5 to 60 minutes dhoni ride).

STEWARD/KITCHEN HELPER (male)
  • To clean and wash dishes according to the established performance standards.
  • To clean and wash pots, pans and other kitchen utensils according to standards.
  • To handle operating equipment and kitchen equipment with care in order to reduce breakage to a minimum level.
  • To empty rubbish bins according to scheduled garbage runs.
  • To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all cleaning procedures, use of dish washing machineries and the type of chemicals to be used.
  • To ensure that the work area is kept clean at all times.
  • Work under the supervision and close guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
  • To exercise careful use of operating supplies in order to reduce spoilage and wastage.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas and other back-of-the-house Food & Beverage areas are cleaned.
