The secretary shall be responsible for administrative and executive services for the National Board, and implementation of the policies and activities, and shall report thereon to the National Secretary General. He/she shall provide administrative services to the subsidiary bodies/commissions established by the national Board, as required. 


Key job tasks of National secretariat
1. Attend Daily operations.
2. Provide translation and interpretation services.
3. Assist the National Secretary General, Legal Council and commission members in maintaining liaisons with project partners, preparing reports, proposals.
Arrange meeting and may takes minutes if necessary or per requested.
4. Provide logistical support for project events and field trips.
5. Performs other related duties as assigned.
6. Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software.
7. Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports in order to determine their significance and distribute accordingly.
8. Assist with other assigned tasks.


Qualification and other skills
1.Minimum O/level
2.2 years working experience in similar field specially in NGO sector.
3.Relevant training or qualification.
4.Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications – spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
5.Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
6.Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills.
7.Proven experience of producing correspondence and documents.
8.Proven experience in information and communication management.
9.Verbal and written communication skills of both English and Dhivehi.
