Assistant Accountant for Resort - 01
Requirements: CIMA or CAT/AAT qualified/Part qualified, minimum 02
years’ experience in tourism industry, computer literate with good knowledge in
accounting software like Sun System will be an added advantage.
Type of Work: All works related to maintenance of proper accounting
records.
Duties and key responsibilities: The assistant accountant is
responsible for applying International Financial Reporting Standard,
International Accounting Standard, Generally Accepted Accounting Principle and
accounting principles adopted by the management of the company and procedures
to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports
and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

- Proficient in data entry and management
- 1-2 years accounts
payable or general accounting experience
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- review and verify
invoices and check requests
- sort, code and match
invoices
- set invoices up for
payment
- enter and upload
invoices into system
- track expenses and
process expense reports
- prepare and process
electronic transfers and payments
- prepare and perform
check runs
- post transactions to
journals, ledgers and other records
- reconcile accounts
payable transactions
- prepare analysis of
accounts
- monitor accounts to
ensure payments are up to date
- research and resolve
invoice discrepancies and issues
- maintain vendor files
- correspond with vendors
and respond to inquiries
