Head Gardener (Maldivian)
Qualification Summary
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Full high school education and completion of chosen academics.
- Able to speak in good English
- Basic computer knowledge (Office excel/Word/Power Point)
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of all local and vegetable plants and their development stages.
- Ability to look after and care for the organic and the herb gardens.
- Ability to plan and implement programs and policies to train and supervise hosts.
- Ability to train and supervise hosts and communicate well with Management and the guests.
- Knowledge of waste management.
- Ability to design flower beds.
- Insect and disease management of herbs, vegetables and local plants.
- Ability to experiment with new, indigenous and useful plants optimizes the outcome and product of the gardens.
- Knowledge of making organic composed.
