Beverage Manager cum Sommelier

Beverage Manager required for a luxury resort in Maldives.

To be knowledgeable in Food and Beverage service and operation.

Lead by example, vibrant, skillful, empowered and dedicated

Professional with excellent interpersonal skills.

You must have

At least 2 years experienced as Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager and ready to take the next steps.

Candidates who have experienced in the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius will be an added advantage.

WSET level  certification – be able to host Wine dinners, wine tastings and training the associates

Excellent Administrative Skills and possesses good knowledge of  the business

Self-motivated, young , energetic and willing to work in a challenging isolated location

Ability to lead, motivate and communicate with multicultural associates.

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Well groomed and presentable

F&B Hostess (Maldivians only)

Pleasant personality & positive attitude

Computer literate

should be able to professionally communicate in English and have a pleasant personality

Additional language would be an added advantage

Organized with an eye for details

2-3 years 5* resort/hotel experience

F&B Waiter

Pleasant personality & positive attitude

Minimum 2 year experience in Food & Beverage on a 5 star Resort/Hotel

Should be able to professionally communicate in English ,additional language would be an added advantage

Organized with an eye for detail.

Barman

Minimum 2 years of experience as Barman in a 5* Resort

Excellent knowledge on cocktails and wines

Guest focused with positive personality and can do attitude

Good command in English and able to communicate fluently.

Outgoing, pleasant personality and team player

MARINE BIOLOGIST

Scope of Position:

The Marine Biologist is responsible and accountable for all functions and activities related to marine and island-life biology, for environmental benchmarking, reporting, advising, implementing of best practices as well as for the necessary coordination with the many departments of the resort and allied areas.

Within the guidelines of both the resorts’ policies and procedures and the regulations as set by Maldives Government, the Marine Biologist is responsible for organizing and coordinating all activities related to marine biology.

Experience: Experience as Marine Biologist in remote resort environment a plus. Ideal candidate is a recent graduate who is keen on gaining ‘in the field’ experience.

Qualifications: Diploma in Marine Biology or equivalent.

Special Skills: Certified as Open Water Diver and able to snorkel.

Languages:  Good English communication skills both written and oral. An offering of additional foreign language a plus
