One of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts properties will be opening soon in the Maldives and is currently looking for talented, bright Human Resources Manager who will be reporting to Director of Human Resources of the property.

This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementation of the operations of human resources spectrum such as recruitment, training and development, work permit and legal matters and also employee communication.

Ideally you will require some of the following things we are looking for:

1. Bachelor degree of Business Administration, Social Science or Human Resources
2. At least 2 to 3 years experience as Training Manager in 5 stars resort or hotel. Train the Trainer certification is a must.
3. 1 to 2 years experience as Human Resources Manager in luxury resort will be advantage.
4. Excellent English proficiency and conversant with Dhivehi language is must.
5. Familiar with all Windows application (words, excel, ppt, visio, wmv, outlook), e-recruitment
6. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
7. He must be team player, result oriented person, leading by example, fostering positive work place for the associate and also promote team diversity.
8. Live and work in a remote island.
