Career Opportunities at Manafaru Maldives
Manage the Restaurants and Bars in order to maintain high standards of quality, service and merchandising to maximize profits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the training and development of team members, oversight of departmental administration, implementation of effective control of inventory and costs. Act as Department Head during the absence of Food & Beverage Manager.
Oversee the operation of the kitchen in conjunction with other Departmental Management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hiring, training, scheduling and directing all culinary staff; visually inspecting all food product to be served to ensure they all meet the quality standards set out be Departmental and Resort management; ensure proper receiving and storage of food products so as to comply with health department regulations; and adherence to all cost and quality control procedures.
Responsible for the supervision and participation in all information activities such as but not limited to, Villa Host, transportation, handling guest queries, guest messages, and all recreation activities, in accordance with The Beach House performance and quality standards.
Answer and process all calls received in accordance with established standards. Practice warm hospitality and telephone courtesy at all times. Responsible for answering calls in order, recording the guest request and then pursuing the issue to a resolution. When in communication with the guest, must be proactive in every area including offering additional services. Most importantly, must coordinate the response to the guest issue and then follow up with the guest to ensure satisfaction with the result. Excellent verbal communication skills a must.
Serves as secretary in the Engineering Department. Performs clerical work, maintains administrative and financial records. Reviews and routes incoming mail, checks for action, provides copy to staff and prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes. Answers telephone calls, refers inquiries to appropriate staff members. Provides
information pertaining to engineering division projects and meetings.
In this position you will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of administrative support to the Human Resources Department. The HR Assistant is responsible to assist the Assistant Director of Human Resources in the efficient running of the Human Resources Department
