Maldives crowned as the "World's Leading Island Destination"

Maldives has been crowned as the "World's Leading Island Destination", at the World Travel Awards Grand Final 2012 which was held in New Delhi, India.

Maldivian High commissioner to India Mohamed Naseer accepted the Awards on behalf at the event.

Maldives won the award after competing with ten other countries nominated for the Oscar equivalent award of the global tourism industry. The nominated countries include Mauritius that had won the award for the past three consecutive years. Maldives last won the award back in 2008. Read more

We are looking for highly motivated, self disciplined, energetic individuals to join our Dive and Water Sports team in one of our Resorts.

1.  WATER SPORTS ASSISTANT

Qualifications: Inboard License, Good English

Experience:  experience in related field.

Salary: Basic Mrf 4,500/- to Mrf 6,000/- (depending on qualifications and experience). Additional benefits include Overtime, Service Charge and Mobile phone allowance.

2.  BOAT CREW

Qualifications: Able to speak good English

Experience: experience as a boat crew and especially in a diving dhoni is an added advantage.

Salary: Basic Mrf 3,084/- (In addition, mobile allowance, Service charge and overtime will be provided)

3.  ASSISTANT BOAT CAPTAIN

Qualifications: Boat License- Inboard and Outboard, Able to speak good English.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in related field

Salary: Basic Mrf 4,600/- (In addition, mobile allowance, Service Charge and overtime will be provided)
