Job Summary

This position is required for a luxury yacht in the Maldives. Your responsibility extends from cooking great meals to ensuring supply of food items, cleaning and table preparations. It is the responsibility of the Chef to provide all meals for both guests and crew members.

Skills and Competencies

• Certificates in Culinary / Cooking training preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Chef, Sample menu plans (7 days) and photographs of food presentation for review is advised. Previously worked as a Chef De Partier in a Luxury/ Five Star property
• Vast Knowledge of Commodities.
• Flexible and able to manage quick menu changes; Knowledge of nutrition and restricted diets and food allergies, able to work in limited refrigeration and cooking space.
• Must have passed through HACCP and should have good hygiene management.

Captain Job Opportunity at Sultans of the Seas

Job Summary

The captain is the person in charge of operating the vessel and the crew. The person should be a ‘hands-on’ person and must also be able to carry out administrative work tasks. The person should thoroughly understand the service and all operations on board the vessel and should also be ready to entertain guests where necessary.

You will be based in Maldives but will work on board one of Sultans of the Seas luxury yachts (the Sultans way).

Skills and Competencies

• Relevant licenses required to captain a motor yacht of over 100ft.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Computer literacy.
• Over 4 years of experience as a Captain.
• Ability to speak a foreign language will be an added advantage.

Remuneration & Benefits

• MRF 8,000.00 – MRF 11,000.00 (negotiable)

• Increment will be provided according to company policies.

Butler Job Opportunity at Sultans of the Seas

Job Summary

This position is required for a luxury yacht in the Maldives. A multiple role, responsible to act as the caretaker of the guests while onboard, provides services from F&B to Housekeeping. Must be able to serve and smile and be able to attend to guest's needs, no matter the time of the day or night. You will be based on board one of the Sultans of the Seas luxury yachts. You will also be required to involve with yacht manning along with other crews.

Skills and Competencies

• Experienced in Food/Drink service and housekeeping in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent knowledge of wine and cocktail.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Computer Literacy
• Over 3 years of experience. Preferably as a Barman/Waiter/Butler
• Experience of working in a luxury hotel, cruise liner or yacht.
