Recreation Manager

Job Scope: Responsible for coordinating the delivery of all recreational guest services, including the gym operations, kids club and night entertainment.

Experience: 2 years related experience including 1 year experience in Gym operation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications: Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent.

Required Skills:

• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Good writing skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Problem solving and organizational abilities
• Must be a highly energetic, versatile individual, preferably with good sense of humor

Recreation Attendant

Job Scope: Assist water sports instructor in all activities such as catamaran, kite surfing, canoeing, surfing, snorkelling etc. and in all the Recreation activities such as sunset cruise, dolphin cruise and night fishing.

Experience: Minimum one year of experience in the water sports activities.

Qualification: At least a  High School Graduate with general knowledge in water sports and recreation activities including the use of gym equipment.

Required Skills:

• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Able to read and write English

Commis I

Job Scope:

• Prepare food in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes.
• Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures

Experience: 1 year related experience or formal training or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Qualifications: Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.
• Ability to read and write English

DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE (VIETNAMESE) - 1

Scope of Position: To add culinary depth to the department by incorporating Vietnamese cuisines, working in all areas of the food and beverage department to enhance the culinary offerings of the resort. Assisting the Sous Chefs in menu creations and the daily outlet operation, Specialty Chefs require good leadership and organizational qualities.

Experience:  Minimum 3 years of experience

Qualifications: Diploma in Culinary art or equivalent

Special Skills: Assign daily work volume to difference sections in the assigned kitchen, constantly supervise all products. Check all food requisition and make sure not to over order. Plan production according to occupancy, outlets need, and orders. Secure specification of items and quantity of the day’s production from the Senior Sous Chef. Write work orders, check guests’ comments, frequently come up with new items.

Languages: Excellent English communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge and abilities in other languages is desirable. Knowledge of Dhivehi also seen as an advantage

COMMIS (VIETNAMESE) - 1

Scope of Position: To add culinary depth to the department by incorporating Vietnamese cuisines, working in all areas of the food and beverage department to enhance the culinary offerings of the resort. The Commis Chef prepares the daily mis-en-place and food items according to pre-determined recipes and dish specifications. Commis Chefs require good organizational skills and hygiene standards

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience

Qualifications:  Secondary School or above

Special Skills:  Willingness to learn new skills and work hard

Languages:  Excellent English communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge and abilities in other languages is desirable. Knowledge of Dhivehi also seen as an advantage
