GIRAAVARU RE-DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
We are now actively searching for following vacant positions for
immediate start with Giraavaru Island, Male’ Atoll re-development project
Position: Procurement
Manager - 1
Requirement: 5 years related
experience with proven record of minimum 2 years at senior project management
level. Must be able to communicate in English at a very high level including
very good document management experience.
Job Scope:
Prepare
clear schedule of materials of purchasing and identifying suitable suppliers
Prepare documents to
obtain quotations, delivery time, samples and specifications for selection.
Assesses return
quotations and prepare recommendations for award and arrange the necessary
documents for payments.
Check quality of material
at supplier’s factory before dispatch to site and coordinate with suppliers, site
team and contractors for delivery and material storage.
Arrange for temporary
storage and security if necessary.
Position: Builders Work
Inspector - 1
Requirement: A civil project
work back ground is required with a minimum experience of 2 years preferably in
a supervisory role.
Job Scope:
Quality control
off the workmanship and materials throughout the project and to ensure good
working practices and the highest standard of workmanship through constant
supervision.
Prepare regular records
and daily diaries using the prescribed clerk of work format and LT project
management reporting documents.
Monitor health &
safety at work Regulations and report daily to project manager, contractor and
record any problems breaches of safety.
Maintain and keeping of
contracts instructions and variations related to all site works. Check
variations and their effect on following trades, services and associated
details.
Position: M&E
Inspectors
Requirement: Minimum 2 year
related experience, preferably in a similar field of resort development in
Maldives.
Job Scope:
Ensure good
working practices and highest standards of workmanship through constant
supervision on M&E works.
Prepare regular records
and daily diaries using the prescribed format and LT Project Management
reporting documents.
Witness commissioning
mechanical & electrical installations and record performances including
recording keeping of variations and their effect on following trades, services
and associated details.
