We are seeking for an enthusiastic, qualified & experienced professional to join our company to take the responsibility of short and long term planning and management of Human Resources functions and work closely with the General Manager in implementing, achieving and maintaining the goals and objectives of the resort.

Professional qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required. Masters in Business or Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.

Experience/Responsibility

• At least 5 years experience in preferably Luxury Hotels. Pre-opening experience an advantage.
• Ability to guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs.
• Take responsibility for overall talent management strategy including team planning; recruiting training and development; performance management and succession planning. Organization development, change management initiatives, and company-wide environment for employee.
• Expert in employment law and employee relations and communication.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in policy development, documentation, and implementation.
• Oversees employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
• Responsible for community outreach and communication, and charitable giving.
• Managing external employment agencies, recruiters, and temporary/permanent staffing agencies.
• Responsible for finalizing all team facilities – accommodation, recreational facilities, clinic, etc.

Scope of Position:

The Chinese Spa Therapist ensures that all guests receive requested treatments and service in accordance with the spa standard of excellence.

General Requirements:

The individuals must possess the following knowledge skills and abilities and must be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job,

• Spa therapist graduate
• At least 3 years experience in spas
• Work experience in customer service
• Effective social skills
• Emotional maturity and stability
• Strong service orientation
• High level of hygiene and grooming
• Proficient in Chinese and English 

Intrapersonal Skills

• Should be accurate, efficient and methodical in work.
• Able to keep information confidential and should be honest and responsible at all times.

• Willing to be multi-task trained.

Education and Experience:

• A qualification from a recognized hotel school with at least 3 years experience as a spa therapist in 5 star resort or hotel environment.
