Purchasing Officer (Male/Female)

Job Functions

• To handle technical work in purchasing for materials, supplies and equipment, processing bids and approving payment of invoices.

.

Job Responsibilities

 To handle product purchasing process.

 To handle all domestic and overseas purchasing documents.

 To coordinate with suppliers and inter-departmental employees.

 To administer the tendering routines such as programming, advertising, analyzing, evaluating and award.

 To conduct price and services reviews and deal.

 To establish and maintain workable filing systems for catalogues, contract files, contacts, completed projects and tenders.

 To provide a professional approach to all business contacts, observing normal business etiquette.

 To maintain suitable files for matters indirectly and directly relating to purchasing and corporate issues.

JOB SPEC’s

 dynamic and highly motivated with supervisory qualities

 Communicate with all levels of hierarchy with ease

 Hotel School Graduates and/ or experience in a similar position

 Outgoing personality who fosters relationship with others in a business level. Computer literate.

Laundry Supervisor (Male)

Job Functions

• To ensure that the cleanliness, maintenance, stock levels and control of linen and uniforms is in accordance with hotel standards

.

Job Responsibilities 

 To supervise and assist in the receipt, sorting, counting and storing of all hotel linen and uniforms to ensure that departmental procedures are adhered to.

 To inventory and stock-take uniforms and linen with the assistance of the laundry/uniform attendants.

 To ensure laundered uniforms ready for use on a daily basis.

 To ensure the linen room is cleaned and maintained according to departmental standards.

 To ensure that the hotel policy regarding the exchange of soiled uniforms for clean ones is maintained at all times.

 To ensure that damaged uniforms and linen are given to the Seamstress for repair. 

 To ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all linen room equipment, to report any effects to the Housekeeping Supervisor and to follow-up on requested repairs.
