Area Director of Sales

Job Description
Responsible for the delivery of top-line for the specified Resorts through sales efforts and activities.

Conceptualize sales strategies, planning and local promotions to increase revenue and occupancy to the specified Resorts.

Responsible for the overall day-to-day effectiveness of the Resorts' Sales Team through providing leadership and guidance.

Job Skills Requirement:
Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality industry or related field.

Experience in similar leadership capacity in the Maldives and/or Island Resorts.

A track record of active commercial accounts that may be relevant to the market segment.

Visible strong drive in result-orientation and competency in soliciting business to capitalize sales/revenue opportunities.

Good understanding of Revenue Management and Distribution.
Advance levels of analytical skills and the ability to articulate the business and plans.

Visible leadership skills with strong focus on teamwork/management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel & PowerPoint).
A good level of organizational skill.

Professionally groomed and is neat in appearance

Experience in the Maldivian Hotel Industry will be an added advantage.

Minimum Requirement
1. University Degree or Master Degree Qualification in quantity surveying.
2. Good computer knowledge (word/excel/project/coral draw/AutoCAD).
3. Minimum 5 years of work experience in the similar field and should have a good knowledge of construction industry.
4. Should be able to work independently and ready to take responsibility
5. Should be willing to work long hours.
6. Should be of age between 30 to 40 years

Remuneration
1- Basic Salary -     US$1,500, during probation period (3 months).
