Job vacancy for Human Resources Manager

Human Resources Manager

We are currently seeking candidates who are passionate about what they do, excited by growth, opportunity and change to join our team as Human Resources Manager

This challenging position is responsible for the following;
  • Assisting the General Manager of the resort with HR Strategy in line with the Company objectives. 
  • Preparation of HR budget 
  • Consulting on staff planning activities in order to optimize staffing levels, productivity and service standards in the most cost effective manner. 
  • Regularly analyzing and  reviewing HR statistics to identify trends so that attention can be directed to key issues and resources adjusted accordingly 
  • Taking responsibility for the recruitment and selection of all colleagues in order to ensure effective hiring decisions in partnership with departmental heads. 
  • Overseeing the rollout, maintenance and accuracy of any HR records, files and system. 
  • Continuously reviewing of HR Policies and Procedures
  • Ensuring all activities in performance management process are effectively executed.
  • Co-ordinating & driving the Training & Development process in order to ensure talent management is fully embraced and the benefits fully realized. 
  • Providing coaching, counseling & disciplinary support.
  • Planning, driving and deploying employee recognition, reward & engagement activities. 
  • Planning and driving staff social and leisure programme to incorporate activities that appeal to all abilities, interests, genders and age groups. 
  • Performing other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time including those outside of the HR field.

Requirements: 
  • Significant experience in all aspects of hotel/resort Human Resources Management & Development
  • Possess high level of professionalism and integrity. 
  • Friendly and courteous, approachable and with a genuine disposition of being helpful. 
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Leadership within a culturally diverse workforce
  • Verbal and written fluency in English 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Well versed in recruitment, budgetary functions, personnel administration, benefits administration and overseeing staff accommodation. 
  • Demonstrated ability as a Team Player 
  • knowledge of computerized information systems used in HR applications. 

F&B Hostess
