Job Summary

The Pastry Assistant is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of the kitchen, and ensuring guest satisfaction according to the standards set by the management.

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12, post secondary education preferred.

Formal culinary training or a combination of education and experience in the Pastry Department.

Certification in Food Handling and Hygiene.

Experience 

Minimum 2 years as a Pastry Assistant in a Bakery or the Pastry Department of a Hotel.
