Terms of Reference of Chief Risk Management Officer

Major Responsibilities:
- Identify and quantify of the various products/business offered by the Bank
- Enable formulation, approval and implementation of risk management policy
- Develop risk monitoring matrices, templates and propose acceptable risk levels for various businesses
- Monitoring and report on risk management at periodical interval
- Preparation or overall Risk Management Plan for the Bank on basis of Risk Management Policy and sub plans for each line of business

Required Qualification: A degree in any discipline with professional banking qualifications

Experience: Total experience of 15 years banking out of which 3 years or relevant experience in risk management including at least two years heading such a department

Skills & Competencies: Conversant with Basel Accord. Working experience in Basel II environment preferable. Experience in implementing Risk Management Structure in a Bank is preferable

Remuneration: Up to US$60,000.00 per annum payable proportionately on a monthly basis depending on qualification and experience.
Accommodation allowance of US$1,250.00 per month. Business class home passage once a year for self and immediate family. Medical insurance for self.
