UNICEF Maldives invites qualified and interested Maldivian Nationals to apply for the position of

Driver/ Messenger

Major duties and responsibilities
1. Drive Office Vehicle for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collect of mail, documents and other items. Sort, deliver and pick up mail from various offices on the premises at regular intervals. Keep records as required.

2. Meet official personnel at the airport and facilitate immigration and customs formalities, as required.

3. Be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicles, check oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc. perform minor repairs and arrange for other repairs. Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean. Log official trips daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing etc

4. Ensure that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken, in case of involvement in an accident.

5. Open office in the morning and close office after the office hours and to check lights and air conditioners are turned off at the end of the office hours. Operate photocopying and duplicating machines are required.

6. Perform other duties as required.

Minimum requirements: Candidates must possess primary education and valid driver’s license
Two years work experience as a driver with safe driving record and knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair. Good knowledge of the local language and basic understanding of spoken English essential

Marketing Manager (1)
Academic Requirements: A diploma in marketing or higher
Experience: The applicant should have some work experience in the area of Marketing, and should have demonstrated capacity to work as part of a team with go interpersonal skills

Remuneration: The successful candidate will be remunerated in the range of MRf 8,000 – MRf10,000 depending on qualification and experience. In addition, medical expenses within the Maldives will be provided for the incumbent. Annual performance bonuses will apply. 3 weeks of paid annual leave is a part of the remuneration package

PR Officer (2)
Academic Requirements: A minimum C grade in English at O/L or equivalent.

Remuneration: The successful candidate will be remunerated in the range of MRf3,500 – 4,000 depending on qualification and experience. Annual performance bonuses will apply. 3 weeks of paid annual leave is a part of the remuneration package
