German company ABG GmbH is seeking the following national consultants (citizens of Maldivian) for implementation of the project “Consultancy and training for capacity building in the field of the Business Development Services”. The main objective of the project is to assist development of micro and small business through improved business development services.


1. SME Portal and Communications Specialist (full time, 24 months)

Degree in the respective field, proficiency in English. Should have experience in designing and maintenance websites, web portal and databases.
Will assume tasks in the project related to:
- design and maintenance web sites with online databases
- implementation of media campaign
- training of partner staff in web site management


2. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist (full time, 24 months)

University degree in the respective field, proficiency in English and good communication skills. Should have experience and understanding of private sector development issues. Working experience with international consultants.
Will assume tasks in the project related to:
- Collect data in regard of micro, small and medium business (MSME) development and processing to Management information system
- Monitoring of the small business development in Maldives
- Provide inputs to the training program
- Assist international experts in MSME-related activities


3. Business Development Services Operation Desks Consultants Specialist (2 positions, each full time, 24 months)

University degree in business or economics or equivalent degree in related fields, proficiency in English and good communication skills. Should have experience and understanding of private sector development issues. Working experience and background in the fields related to micro and small business development and business development services.
Will assume tasks in the project related to:
- provision of business development services to micro and small business in the regions ( including work in Hithadhoo and / or Kulhudhuffushi)
- facilitation services for market access and finance;
- Work on the Cost Sharing Facility
