RECEPTIONIST
Salary MVR 6,000.00
(MALE MALDIVIAN)
Job Qualifications:
- GCE O’ Level standard and minimum of 1 years experience in similar operations
- Must be conversant and has good command in English
- Knowledgeable in speaking Chinese and/or European language is an advantage
- Have a friendly and engaging personality
- Able to handle all level of customer
Job Responsibility:
- Will attend duty at Front Desk on daily basis, guest check in & out, telephone calls and receives payments.
- Will handle guest complaints, prepare and pass information to Guest/Departments.
- Will update Front Office Log, and Daily Reports, pass messages to guests & staff.
- Will escort arrival Guest/VIPs to their rooms/excursions.
- Will make bills for activities/excursions organized by Front Office

Generic Knowledge
- Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills
- Creative sense of initiative and able to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and plan effectively with creativity
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional language would be beneficial
- Must be very familiar with computer office systems (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Must be able to create documents and presentations based on the Company brand standards
- Must be comfortable to meet guests and clients on behalf of the Management and deal with difficult situations
- Must be flexible with working hours
- Must be able to cope with island life and to live in multi-cultural environment
- Must be able to commit to a 2-year contract
Generic Competencies
- PRESS & PR
Manager fosters relationships with key media and journalists in national and
international publications. Develops compelling story angles relevant to the
brand and the resort name, pitches stories to both national and local media to
achieve visibility for in-print, broadcast, TV and online media. PRESS & PR
Manager develops positive business relationships with the local authorities,
Ministry of Tourism and Tourism Bureau.
Technical Knowledge & Competencies
- Ability to write clear and relevant business letters when required, press releases and articles
- Manage all media requests, deal with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations
- Identify media trends and PR opportunities
- Analyze and measure results of PR programs and manage budgets
- Analyze media coverage, produce relevant monthly report and press clipping report
- Actively manage relevant social media platforms by uploading new and interesting content and images on behalf of the resort (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
3-4 years of experience in an equivalent level of a 5 star Hotel/Resort
