January 02, 2012, Maldives: As per the recent poll conducted by Job-Maldives.com , the most visited job portal in Maldives, Hilton Group has been voted as the Best Employer of 2011 in Maldives. Job Maldives conducted this poll last year to distinguish the top employers in Maldives and recognize their contribution in providing a variety of jobs and creating career opportunities for fresh graduates and experienced professionals hailing from different industries in Maldives. The Best Employer of 2011 poll was open to both registered as well as non-registered users of the online job portal. The website witnessed an astounding figure of over 4700 votes cast till December 31, 2011. The Job Maldives Team extends its heartiest congratulations to the Hilton Group on winning the prestigious Best Employer of 2011 in Maldives award.
Hilton Maldives emerged as the strongest contender in the race to win the Best Employer of 2011 Award with 33% of all votes cast. While W Maldives followed a close second with 29% votes, Four Seasons Resorts finished third with 9% of all votes indexed. Other strong competitors in the trail included Jumeirah Maldives, One and Only Reethi Rah and Six Senses Resorts in a long list of over fifteen top contenders such as Wataniya, Dhiraagu, Conrad Maldives, Bank of Maldives, Anantara Resorts, Shangri-La Maldives, Banyan Tree Maldives, Huvafen Fushi and Hulhule Island Hotel.
While Hilton enjoys its status of being the Best Employer of 2011 in Maldives, the competition for winning the top position this year has already begun. The poll for Best Employer of 2012 in Maldives will be announced by the online job portal on January 15, 2012.
