POST: GEOMETICS SURVEYOR (1)
The position of Geometics Surveyor will involve delivering accurate
surveys to a high standard, within the required time frame and within budget,
and to undertake any work of a technical nature that falls within the job
holder’s ability and competence.
The candidate will be able to work at any position within a project
team to achieve the project objectives. Reporting to the senior surveyor, the
candidate will be expected to work on site at an efficient rate on
topographical, building and hydrographic surveys conforming to the project
specification and acting consistently with a respectable work attitude.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Surveying (Geometics) or a related subject.
- Experience in producing topographical surveys, Building Surveys, hydrographic surveys and Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
- An excellent working knowledge of using Total Stations, GPS and production of CAD drawings.
- The applicant must be capable of working under minimum supervision.
- The job holder should be computer literate and conversant with MS office suite and with one of the following design software’s AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- The applicant should be poses experience in data process in Leica Geo Office (LGO) or any other surveying software packages.
- Be capable of processing all survey data acquired through AutoCAD or other similar software
- An understanding of successful time management.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Be fully familiar with field survey design and data acquisition
- Have excellent data processing, interpretation, report writing and communications skills.
- Have a good working knowledge of the engineering and surveying industries.
Remuneration
- Take Home Pay MVR 7,000.00
- Salary increment after probationary period
- Medical Insurance (according to the company policy)

Requirements
- Must be a Maldivian
- Minimum A/Level Standard (Pass in Mathematics).
- Must be willing to travel to outer islands and resorts.
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality with ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced & dynamic environment
- Familiarity with AutoCAD will be advantageous.
- School leavers are encouraged to apply.
