“UNICEF urgently requires A Monitoring and Evaluation Officer”

UNICEF is looking for dynamic professional (Maldivian National) to provide support in the area of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. The candidate will be a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with undergraduate qualifications and at least 3-5 years of working experience in the areas of research, surveys and studies, and monitoring and evaluation. S/He will possess strong communication, computer and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment. VELIGANDU ISLAND RESORT is looking for Dynamic, Motivated and Experienced candidates for the following positions:

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Responsible for all property mechanical and engineering equipments. Ensure that all properties such as power generators, transport vessels' engines, desalination plants, incinerator and petrol engines.
  • Perform electrical systems additions or modifications on secondary circuits: repairs faults in primary (high voltage) system and performs preventive maintenance on high and low voltage components
  • Responsible in maintaining all property owned belongings (interior and exterior) in an outstanding condition of readiness by accomplishing timely repair and maintenance as well as major repairs and overhauling

POSITION QUALIFICATION

  • Must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer
  • Higher diploma in Engine Repair and Maintenance and/or specialized training is required for two or three years.
  • Possess at least five (5) years experience in the field of engineering trade
  • Assists to design in-house mechanical engineering projects using mechanical tools of the trade
  • Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipments to repair, install, replace and test engineering equipment and appliance
