SIGNATURE CHEF

(A Leader for Fine dining Restaurant)

A creative chef responsible for our signature fine dining restaurant to offer ‘A memorable experience’ to our Guests. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with profound knowledge of a wide range of International cuisine with excellent organization skills and should create, organize and manage a team of chefs to deliver an unforgettable experience to the guests.

1. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position within five star luxury hotels & Resorts.

2. Qualification: Diploma or equivalent education

3. Language: English communication skill both written and oral is a must.

4. Culinary Skills:

• Good knowledge of Food products.
• Menu Planning and Budgeting.
• Market exploitation, food cost controlling, and knowledge of kitchen equipments.
• Candidate must have an outgoing personality that is able to entice guests in a unique dining experience.
• Must be hardworking and energetic & willing to work under pressure with excellent coordination and Customer Service skills with an Eye for Details
• Michelin Experience would definitely be an added advantage

Japanese Speaking Instructor for Premier Resort - Maldives

We are looking for experienced Japanese speaking Diving Instructor for a position within our premier Dive and Water sports operation based in a top 5 Star luxury resort in the Maldives.

Reporting to the Base Leader, the successful applicant will have a proven track record as an Instructor and Guide. You will be a hard worker, highly motivated and adaptable with impeccable customer service skills, plenty of initiative and the ability to successfully work in a team.  Main duties include providing enjoyable, informative and safe guidance/instruction during in-water activities including scuba diving and snorkeling.

A flexible approach to work is essential as guest relations, helping with excursions and boat handling, retail sales, equipment maintenance and general dive base housekeeping will also be part of the daily routine.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• PADI OWSI license or higher

• Fluency in Japanese as well as conversant in English

• Current Professional Liability Insurance

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Previous work experience in the Maldives would be an advantage but not essential.

We offer an eleven month contract, on site full board, twin-share a/c accommodation and a competitive remuneration package. All visa expenses will be paid by the company. Candidates who are looking for long term contracts would also be welcomed, as there are career opportunities within our company.
